Microneedling is a procedure where a device with tiny needles ranging from 0.25 mm to 2.5 mm in depth is used gently penetrate the skin and create micro-injuries. This triggers the skin to break down scar tissue and pigment cells.
In PRP, we use "your own" blood which contains a concentrated amount of platelets that contain over 30 growth factors responsible for healing wounds and stimulating collagen and elastin (proteins that make your skin plump) production. The addition of PRP to microneedling enhances the results, speeds up the healing process, and helps boost cellular renewal. It results in brighter skin that looks and feels firm and bouncy. It is essentially a next-level version of microneedling. A numbing gel is used 15-20 mins before the procedure, so you feel almost nothing.
Main targets - anti-aging, hyperpigmentation, acne scars, rosacea and skin texture issues.
